Hysterectomy Support
Support for the whole hysterectomy journey.
A hysterectomy can be a major physical, emotional, and personal transition.
Whether you're considering surgery, preparing for an upcoming hysterectomy, recovering from a recent surgery, or have been living without your Womb for years, you deserve space to care for yourself through the experience.
At Rose Oak Wellness, I offer complementary support that brings together nervous system practices, nourishment, herbal wisdom, womb practices, and space to process the personal side of this transition.
You don't have to navigate it alone and it's never too late to receive support.
You can receive support at any point in your journey.
There isn't a timeline for when you're “supposed” to be finished with your hysterectomy experience.
For some women, the emotional or personal impact doesn't become clear until months or even years later. You may find yourself grieving, feeling disconnected from your body, questioning your identity or femininity, navigating changes in how you experience yourself, or simply realizing that you never really had the opportunity to slow down and process what happened.
Maybe your surgery was last month.
Maybe it was five years ago.
Maybe it was twenty years ago.
Wherever you are, there is still room to tend to yourself.
My work isn't about trying to take you back to who you were before your hysterectomy. It's about creating space for where you are now and supporting you as you reconnect with yourself and discover what this next chapter looks like for you.
Whether you're looking for free resources, a single session, or ongoing support, there is a place to begin.
Where are you on your hysterectomy journey?
-
You may have questions, fears, emotions, or simply a feeling that you want more support than you can receive in a medical appointment.
This can be a time to slow down, prepare intentionally, think about the support you'll need, and begin tending to yourself before surgery.
The 12-Week Hysterectomy Support experience may be a good fit for you.
I also invite you to take a look at our free resources.
-
Your surgery may be over, but that doesn't mean you have to figure out everything that comes next on your own.
This can be a time for rest, nourishment, gentle reconnection, and having somewhere to talk through what you're experiencing.
You don't have to rush to feel “normal” again.
Individual sessions or the 12-week support experience may be appropriate depending on where you are in your recovery.
I also invite you to take a look at our free resources.
-
It's never too late.
Maybe you didn't have much support at the time. Maybe you were focused on getting through the surgery and moving on with life. Maybe you've only recently started noticing how much the experience changed you.
You may be ready now to explore your relationship with your body, your sense of self, your femininity, grief or loss, nourishment, or simply what it means to live in this next chapter.
You can begin tending to this experience whenever you're ready.

If your hysterectomy was years ago, you can still find support.
The 12-week experience isn't the only way to work with me.
If your surgery is behind you and you're looking for support with what you’re going through, I have a variety of offerings that may be a better fit.
You don't need to be newly post-op to deserve support.
Your experience is still valid, even if your surgery was years ago.
These sessions can hold space to explore things such as:
Feeling disconnected from your body
Grief, anger, or other emotions that surfaced later
Changes in your sense of self
Learning how to listen to your body
Feelings of overwhelm or burn out
Learning to trust yourself and your body
Hormonal changes or challenges
Lack of sexual desire
Surgical menopause
Feeling disconnected from your femininity and sexuality
I would be honored to support you in any phase you find yourself in.
Looking for deeper, ongoing support?
Sometimes hysterectomy is only one piece of the picture.
You may be navigating menopause, divorce, burnout, motherhood, loss, or simply a feeling that the life you're living no longer fits who you're becoming.
If you're looking for more than hysterectomy-specific support, Becoming offers a deeper, ongoing container for women who want continued support as they navigate a new chapter.
Through ongoing 1:1 support, nervous system practices, herbal wellness, and nourishment we'll create space for you to tend to yourself while you're becoming the woman you want to be.
Free Resources
You don’t have to begin with a paid session.
I've created free resources for women who are looking for information, support, and a place to begin exploring their experience with hysterectomy.
The Rose Oak Wellness Blog
You'll find articles about hysterectomy, women's wellness, nourishment, herbalism, nervous system support, and navigating major transitions.
The Rose Oak Wellness Substack
My Substack is completely free and dedicated exclusively to hysterectomy content.
It's a place to explore the parts of the hysterectomy experience that aren't always talked about. From recovery, grief, identity, body connection, and life after hysterectomy. It’s also treated more like an advice column where I can answer questions from readers.
You can subscribe for free and receive new articles as they're published.
Not sure what you need?
That's okay too!
You might not know whether you need a single session, the 12-week experience, or something more ongoing. You don't need to figure that out before reaching out.
Schedule a free discovery call and we can talk about where you are and what kind of support might make sense for you.
What support at Rose Oak can look like
There is no one right way to move through a hysterectomy or any major life transition.
My approach brings together several forms of support, including:
-
Exploring food as a foundation for caring for yourself. Learning to fuel your day through nourishment instead of stress hormones and caffeine.
-
Practices such as tapping, breathwork, grounding, and slowing down to create more space for yourself.
-
Herbal education and supportive herbal products, personalized just for you.
-
Reconnecting (or connecting for the first time) back to your feminine center. This can include guided meditations, visualizations, or somatic practices.
This isn't about fixing you or telling you how you should feel.
It's about having somewhere to tend to yourself.
Meet Your Guide, Jamie.
I'm an Herbalist and Womb Healing Practitioner, and I've spent years studying women's wellness, herbalism, nourishment, and the ways major life transitions can affect how we experience ourselves. After personally experiencing the transitions into motherhood, hysterectomy, and divorce within 5 years of each other I know what a toll it can take on us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
My work with women isn't about telling you what your body should be doing or promising to fix what has changed.
I'm here to guide you, offer education and supportive practices, and create a space where you can slow down and listen to yourself.
Hysterectomy can be one of those life experiences that changes more than you expected.
You deserve support for all of it, not just the surgery itself.
You don’t have to figure out where you fit on your own.
If you're not sure which option is right for you, that's exactly what the free discovery call is for.
We'll talk about where you are in your journey, what kind of support you're looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
No pressure. Just a conversation.
